The following companies and government agencies provide utility and municipal services to the Cambridge Cove community.

Electricity:

Electric service is provided by Tampa Electric Company, Inc. (TECO)


Phone, Cable TV and Internet:

Cambridge Cove homeowners can pick from two telecommunications providers.


Streetlights:

  • The CCHOA contracts with TECO to provide streetlights in Cambridge Cove.

  • Residents can report inoperable streetlights directly on TECO's website .

  • As existing streetlights fail, TECO is replacing them with with energy efficient LED fixtures. These lights create a brighter white illumination than the older incandescent lights.

Trash, Yard Waste and Recycling:

  • Solid waste collection is provide by Hillsborough County Solid Waste Services Department through contract providers. Fees for collection are included in your annual property tax bill as a non-ad valorem assessment.

  • Effective January 31, 2022 the County awarded an 8 year contract to FCC Environmental Services FL, LLC. to provide services to this area.

  • Cambridge Cove collection days are; Tuesdays: Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste, and Fridays: Trash only.

  • Report problems with solid wast collection services to the Solid Waste Department
